[790] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (nevadassanena-nabhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka), there arises a phenomenon whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development, by non-root condition (na-hetupaccaya).
Dependent on one rootless (ahetuka) aggregate (khandha) whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development, three aggregates and mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna rūpa) arise … two aggregates.
At the moment of rootless rebirth-linking (ahetuka-paṭisandhikkhaṇa), dependent on the aggregates, the base (vatthu) arises; dependent on the base, the aggregates. Dependent on one great element (mahābhūta), the external (bāhira) … the nutriment-originated (āhārasamuṭṭhāna) … the temperature-originated (utusamuṭṭhāna) … for the non-percipient beings (asaññasatta) … .
