[769] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (nevadassanena-nabhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka), there arises a phenomenon whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development, by root condition (hetu-paccaya): dependent on one aggregate (khandha) whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development, there arise three aggregates and mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa); dependent on two aggregates, two aggregates and mind-originated form; dependent on delusion (moha) accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā), mind-originated form; at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), dependent on one aggregate whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development, three aggregates and kamma-born form (kaṭattā-rūpa) … two aggregates; dependent on the aggregates, the base (vatthu); dependent on the base, the aggregates; dependent on one great element (mahābhūta) …; dependent on the great elements, mind-originated form and kamma-born form, [namely] derived form (upādā-rūpa).
