[961] A phenomenon (dhamma) with roots to be abandoned by development (bhāvanāya-pahātabba-hetuka) is a condition, by kamma condition (kamma-paccaya), for a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned by development and for a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (neva-dassanena-na-bhāvanāya-pahātabba-hetuka). Volition (cetanā) with roots to be abandoned by development is a condition, by kamma condition, for the associated aggregates (sampayuttaka khandhā), for delusion (moha), and for forms originated by mind (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa).
