[965] A phenomenon (dhamma) whose roots are to be abandoned by seeing (dassana) is a condition for a phenomenon whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (bhāvanā) … Nutriments (āhāra) whose roots are to be abandoned by seeing are a condition, by nutriment condition (āhāra-paccaya), for delusion (moha) and for material phenomena originated by mind (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa).
