[99] Conditioned by a phenomenon with thought-conception and discursive thought (savitakkasavicāro dhammo), there arises a phenomenon with thought-conception and discursive thought, by root condition (hetu-paccaya): Conditioned by one aggregate with thought-conception and discursive thought, three aggregates [arise]; [conditioned by] two aggregates … Seven questions (pañhā). Conditioned by a phenomenon without thought-conception but with mere discursive thought (avitakkavicāramatta): five questions, similar to those in the Dependence Chapter (paṭicca-vāra).
