[3] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) with thought and with examination (savitakka-savicāra), phenomena with thought and with examination, phenomena without thought but with examination only (avitakka-vicāramatta), and phenomena without thought and without examination (avitakka-avicāra) arise, by root condition (hetu-paccaya). Dependent on one aggregate (khandha) with thought and with examination, three aggregates, thought (vitakka), and mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) arise; dependent on two aggregates, two aggregates, thought, and mind-originated form arise. At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), dependent on one aggregate with thought and with examination, three aggregates, thought, and kamma-born form (kaṭattā-rūpa) arise; dependent on two aggregates, two aggregates, thought, and kamma-born form arise.
