[15] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought (savitakka-savicāra) and on a phenomenon without thought-conception but with mere discursive thought (avitakka-vicāramatta), there arise phenomena accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought and phenomena without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāra), by root condition (hetu-paccaya).
Dependent on one aggregate (khandha) accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought and on thought-conception (vitakka), three aggregates and mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) arise; dependent on two aggregates and on thought-conception, two aggregates and mind-originated form arise. At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), dependent on one aggregate accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought and on thought-conception, three aggregates and kamma-born form (kaṭattā-rūpa) arise; dependent on two aggregates and on thought-conception, two aggregates and kamma-born form arise.
