[100] In dependence on a phenomenon (dhamma) without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāra), there arises a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought, by root condition (hetu-paccaya): in dependence on one aggregate (khandha) without thought-conception and without discursive thought, [there arise] three aggregates and mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa); in dependence on two aggregates, [likewise]; in dependence on discursive thought (vicāra), [there arises] mind-originated form; at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), in dependence on the base (vatthu), [there arise] aggregates without thought-conception and without discursive thought; in dependence on the base, [there arises] discursive thought.
