[283] A material phenomenon (rūpī dhammo) is a condition for an immaterial phenomenon (arūpī dhammo) by dissociation condition (vippayutta-paccaya): Conascent (sahajāta), prearisen (purejāta). Conascent: at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), the base (vatthu) is a condition for the immaterial aggregates (khandhā) by dissociation condition. Prearisen: the eye base (cakkhāyatana) is a condition for eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa), the body base (kāyāyatana) for body-consciousness (kāyaviññāṇa); the base is a condition for the immaterial aggregates by dissociation condition. An immaterial phenomenon is a condition for a material phenomenon by dissociation condition: Conascent, postarisen (pacchājāta). Conascent: the immaterial aggregates are a condition for mind-originated material phenomena (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by dissociation condition; at the moment of rebirth-linking, the immaterial aggregates are a condition for kamma-born material phenomena (kaṭattā-rūpa) by dissociation condition. Postarisen: the immaterial aggregates are a condition for this prearisen body by dissociation condition.
