[305] A mundane phenomenon (lokiyo dhammo) is a condition (paccaya) for a mundane phenomenon by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya): object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati), conascence-predominance (sahajātādhipati).
Object-predominance: Having given a gift (dāna), virtue (sīla) … the uposatha observance (uposathakamma) … formerly … from jhāna … Trainees (sekkhā), having esteemed change-of-lineage (gotrabhū) … having esteemed cleansing (vodāna), review it. The eye … the base (vatthu) … Having esteemed mundane aggregates (khandhā), one relishes them and delights in them; having esteemed that, lust (rāga) arises, view (diṭṭhi) arises.
Conascence-predominance: Mundane predominance is a condition for the associated aggregates (sampayuttakā khandhā) and for forms originated by mind (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by predominance condition.
A supramundane phenomenon (lokuttaro dhammo) is a condition for a supramundane phenomenon by predominance condition: object-predominance, conascence-predominance.
Object-predominance: Nibbāna is a condition for the path (magga), for the fruition (phala), by predominance condition.
Conascence-predominance: Supramundane predominance is a condition for the associated aggregates by predominance condition.
A supramundane phenomenon is a condition for a mundane phenomenon by predominance condition: object-predominance, conascence-predominance.
