[548] A phenomenon (dhamma) associated with ties (gantha) is a condition (paccaya) for a phenomenon associated with ties by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya): object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati), conascence-predominance (sahajātādhipati).
Object-predominance: having given weight to aggregates (khandha) associated with ties, aggregates associated with ties arise.
Conascence-predominance: the predominant (dhamma) associated with ties is a condition for the associated aggregates by predominance condition.
A phenomenon associated with ties is a condition for a phenomenon dissociated from ties by predominance condition: object-predominance, conascence-predominance.
Object-predominance: having given weight to aggregates associated with ties, greed (lobha) dissociated from views (diṭṭhigatavippayutta) arises.
