[349] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is a taint (āsava) is a condition for a phenomenon that is not a taint by postnascence condition (pacchājāta-paccaya): the postnascent taints are a condition for this prenascent body by postnascence condition.
A phenomenon that is not a taint is a condition for a phenomenon that is not a taint by postnascence condition: the postnascent aggregates (khandhā) that are not taints are a condition for this prenascent body by postnascence condition.
A phenomenon that is a taint and a phenomenon that is not a taint are a condition for a phenomenon that is not a taint by postnascence condition: the postnascent taints and the associated aggregates are a condition for this prenascent body by postnascence condition.
