[449] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) associated with fetters (saṃyojana-sampayutta), there arises a phenomenon associated with fetters, not by root condition (na-hetupaccayā): dependent on the aggregates (khandhā) accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā), there arises delusion (moha) accompanied by doubt.
Dependent on a phenomenon associated with fetters, there arises a phenomenon dissociated from fetters (saṃyojana-vippayutta), not by root condition: dependent on the aggregates accompanied by restlessness (uddhacca), there arises delusion accompanied by restlessness.
Dependent on a phenomenon dissociated from fetters, there arises a phenomenon dissociated from fetters, not by root condition: dependent on one rootless (ahetuka) aggregate dissociated from fetters … up to the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā).
