[627] A phenomenon (dhamma) associated with hindrances (nīvaraṇa-sampayutta) is a condition for a phenomenon associated with hindrances by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya): object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati), conascence-predominance (sahajātādhipati).
Object-predominance: having given weight to lust (rāga), one relishes it and delights in it; having given weight to that, lust arises, view (diṭṭhi) arises.
Conascence-predominance: predominance associated with hindrances is a condition for the aggregates (khandhā) associated with hindrances by predominance condition.
A phenomenon associated with hindrances is a condition for a phenomenon dissociated from hindrances (nīvaraṇa-vippayutta) by predominance condition: conascence-predominance: predominance associated with hindrances is a condition for mind-originated material phenomena (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by predominance condition.
