[145] A phenomenon (dhamma) associated with mind (citta-sampayutta) is a condition for a phenomenon dissociated from mind (citta-vippayutta) by dissociation condition (vippayutta-paccaya): conascent, postnascent. (Abbreviated.) A phenomenon dissociated from mind is a condition for a phenomenon associated with mind by dissociation condition: conascent, prenascent. Conascent: at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), the base (vatthu) is a condition for the aggregates associated with mind by dissociation condition. Prenascent: the eye sense base (cakkhāyatana) is a condition for the aggregates accompanied by eye-consciousness by dissociation condition; the body sense base (kāyāyatana) … the base is a condition for the aggregates associated with mind by dissociation condition.
