[314] Dependent on a derived phenomenon (upādā dhamma), a not-derived phenomenon (no-upādā dhamma) arises, not by kamma condition (na-kammapaccayā):
Dependent on the base (vatthu), not-derived volition (cetanā) [arises].
Dependent on a not-derived phenomenon, a not-derived phenomenon arises, not by kamma condition:
Dependent on the not-derived aggregates (khandhā), the associated (sampayuttaka) volition [arises]; external (bāhira) … nutriment-originated (āhārasamuṭṭhāna) … temperature-originated (utusamuṭṭhāna) … dependent on two primary elements (mahābhūta), two primary elements [arise].
Dependent on a not-derived phenomenon, a derived phenomenon arises, not by kamma condition:
External … nutriment-originated … dependent on the temperature-originated primary elements, derived materiality (upādārūpa) [arises].
Dependent on a not-derived phenomenon, derived and not-derived phenomena arise, not by kamma condition:
