[605] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) having roots to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena-pahātabba-hetuka), there arises a phenomenon not having roots to be abandoned by seeing, by not-root condition (na-hetu-paccaya): dependent on the aggregates (khandhā) accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā), there arises the delusion (moha) accompanied by doubt.
Dependent on a phenomenon not having roots to be abandoned by seeing, there arises a phenomenon not having roots to be abandoned by seeing, by not-root condition: dependent on one rootless (ahetuka) aggregate not having roots to be abandoned by seeing, there arise three aggregates and mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) … up to the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā); dependent on the aggregates accompanied by restlessness (uddhacca), there arises the delusion accompanied by restlessness.
