[664] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is not misapprehension (parāmāsa) arises dependent on a phenomenon that is not misapprehension, not by root condition (na-hetupaccayā):
Dependent on one rootless (ahetuka) aggregate (khandha) that is not misapprehension, three aggregates and mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) arise; dependent on two aggregates … ; rootless rebirth-linking (ahetuka-paṭisandhi), up to the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā); dependent on aggregates accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā) or accompanied by restlessness (uddhacca), delusion (moha) accompanied by doubt or accompanied by restlessness arises.
