[1230] Dependent on a wholesome (kusala) phenomenon (dhamma) that is conducive to fetters (saññojaniya), there arises a wholesome phenomenon that is conducive to fetters, by root condition (hetu-paccaya). Dependent on a wholesome phenomenon that is not conducive to fetters (asaññojaniya), there arises a wholesome phenomenon that is not conducive to fetters, by root condition.
