Abhidhammapiṭaka · Paṭṭhāna (5) · Vol. 44 · Section 1828

[1828] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) with conflict (saraṇa) accompanied by equanimity (upekkhā), there arises a phenomenon with conflict accompanied by equanimity, by root condition (hetu-paccaya). Dependent on a phenomenon without conflict (araṇa) accompanied by equanimity, there arises a phenomenon without conflict accompanied by equanimity, by root condition.
