[1840] In dependence on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is free from conflict (araṇa), whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing (dassana) nor by development (bhāvanā), there arises a phenomenon that is free from conflict, whose roots are to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development — by root condition (hetu-paccaya).
