[233] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is a root (hetu), defiled and connected with defilement (saṅkiliṭṭha-saṅkilesika), there arises a phenomenon that is a root, defiled and connected with defilement — not by predominance condition (na adhipatipaccayā).
