[799] In dependence on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is not a root (hetu) and has a present object (paccuppannārammaṇa), there arises a phenomenon that is not a root and has a present object — not by root condition (na hetupaccayā). In dependence on a phenomenon that is not a root and has a present object, there arises a phenomenon that is a root and has a present object — not by root condition.
