[1009] Dependent on a root (hetu) phenomenon (dhamma) conjoined with and originated by mind (cittasaṁsaṭṭhasamuṭṭhāna), a not-root (na-hetu) phenomenon that is not conjoined with and originated by mind (no-cittasaṁsaṭṭhasamuṭṭhāna) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā).
