[1072] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is a taint (āsava) and is a root (hetu), a phenomenon that is not a taint (no-āsava) and is not a root (na-hetu) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). Three. Dependent on a phenomenon that is not a taint (no-āsava) and is a root, a phenomenon that is not a not-taint (na-no-āsava) and is not a root arises by root condition. One.
