[1402] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is not a not-root (na-nahetu) and is not a taint (no-āsava), a not-root (na-hetu) phenomenon that is not a taint (no-āsava) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). Dependent on a phenomenon that is not a not-root and is not a not-taint (na-no-āsava), a not-root phenomenon that is not a taint arises by root condition. Three. Dependent on a phenomenon that is not a not-root and is not a taint, and a phenomenon that is not a not-root and is not a not-taint, a not-root phenomenon that is not a taint arises by root condition.
