[1088] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is both a taint and associated with taints (āsavañceva-āsavasampayuttañca) and is a not-root (na-hetu), a phenomenon that is not dissociated from taints and not a not-taint (na-āsavavippayuttañceva-na-no-ca-āsava) and is not a not-root (na-nahetu) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā).
