[1078] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) associated with taints (āsavasampayutta) that is a root (hetu), a phenomenon that is not associated with taints (na-āsavasampayutta) and is not a root (na-hetu) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). Three. Dependent on a phenomenon dissociated from taints (āsavavippayutta) that is a root, a phenomenon that is not dissociated from taints (na-āsavavippayutta) and is not a root arises by root condition. Three. Dependent on a phenomenon associated with taints that is a root and a phenomenon dissociated from taints that is a root, a phenomenon that is not associated with taints and is not a root arises by root condition.
