[1255] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is not cognizable by some (na-kenaciviññeyya) and is not a root (na-hetu), a phenomenon cognizable by some [consciousness] (kenaciviññeyya) that is a root (hetu) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā).
