[871] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is associated with neither-painful-nor-pleasant feeling (adukkhamasukhāya vedanāya sampayutta) and is invisible and non-impinging (anidassana-appaṭigha), a phenomenon that is not associated with neither-painful-nor-pleasant feeling (na-adukkhamasukhāya vedanāya sampayutta) and is not invisible and non-impinging (na-anidassana-appaṭigha) arises by root condition (hetupaccayā).
