[88] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) that is not a taint and not dissociated from taints (na-āsavañceva-na-āsavavippayuttañca), a phenomenon that is not a taint and not dissociated from taints arises by root condition (hetupaccayā). Dependent on a phenomenon that is not a taint and not dissociated from taints, a phenomenon that is not dissociated from taints and not a not-taint (na-āsavavippayuttañceva-na-no-ca-āsava) arises by root condition. Dependent on a phenomenon that is not a taint and not dissociated from taints, a phenomenon that is not a taint and not dissociated from taints and a phenomenon that is not dissociated from taints and not a not-taint arise by root condition.
