[108] A bhikkhu who has spread the kaṭhina (atthatakaṭhina) departs, having taken robe-cloth upon himself (samādāya). (This is to be expanded in the same manner as the section on "taking" [ādāya-vāra].)
A bhikkhu who has spread the kaṭhina departs, taking (ādāya) an unfinished robe. When he has gone outside the boundary (sīmā), it occurs to him thus: "I shall have this robe made right here; I shall not return." He has that robe made. For that bhikkhu the withdrawal of the kaṭhina (kaṭhinuddhāra) is that which ends with the completion of the robe (niṭṭhānantika). (This is to be expanded in the same manner as the section on "taking upon oneself" [samādāya-vāra].)
