[216] Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu is possessed of five factors, the act of suspension (ukkhepanīyakamma) for not acknowledging an offence (āpatti) should be revoked: he does not give the full ordination (upasampadā); he does not give dependence (nissaya); he does not have a novice (sāmaṇera) attend upon him; he does not consent to the agreement appointing him as an instructor of bhikkhunīs; and even if so agreed upon, he does not instruct the bhikkhunīs. Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu is possessed of these five factors, the act of suspension for not acknowledging an offence should be revoked.
