[34] Bhikkhus, a bhikkhu against whom an act of censure (tajjanīyakamma) has been carried out by the Saṅgha must conduct himself properly. Herein, this is proper conduct: full ordination (upasampadā) should not be given; dependence (nissaya) should not be given; a novice (sāmaṇera) should not be made to attend upon him; agreement as an exhorter of bhikkhunīs should not be accepted; even if he has been agreed upon, bhikkhunīs should not be exhorted; the offence on account of which the act of censure was carried out by the Saṅgha should not be committed, nor another of the same kind, nor one worse than that; the act should not be criticized; those who carried out the act should not be criticized; the uposatha of a regular bhikkhu (pakatatta) should not be suspended; the pavāraṇā should not be suspended; a formal directive should not be issued; a charge should not be set on foot; leave should not be caused to be given; he should not accuse; he should not remind [another of an offence]; bhikkhus should not be set at odds with bhikkhus.
