[382] The Saṅgha should be informed by a competent and capable bhikkhu:
"Venerable sirs, let the Saṅgha listen to me. This bhikkhu Udāyi has committed one offence (āpatti): intentional emission of semen (sañcetanikā sukkavisaṭṭhi), unconcealed. He has requested the Saṅgha for mānatta of six nights for the one offence of intentional emission of semen, unconcealed. The Saṅgha has given the bhikkhu Udāyi mānatta of six nights for the one offence of intentional emission of semen, unconcealed. He, having observed the mānatta, requests the Saṅgha for rehabilitation (abbhāna). If it is the proper time for the Saṅgha, let the Saṅgha rehabilitate the bhikkhu Udāyi. This is the motion (ñatti).

The Saṅgha has given the bhikkhu Udāyi mānatta of six nights for the one offence of intentional emission of semen, unconcealed. He, having observed the mānatta, requests the Saṅgha for rehabilitation. The Saṅgha rehabilitates the bhikkhu Udāyi. "The bhikkhu Udāyi has been rehabilitated by the Saṅgha. It is approved by the Saṅgha; therefore it is silent. Thus do I hold it."
