[441] "And, bhikkhus, it should be given thus. That bhikkhu should approach the Saṅgha, arrange his upper robe over one shoulder, pay homage at the feet of the senior bhikkhus, sit down on his heels, raise his joined palms, and address it thus: 'Venerable sirs, I have committed several saṅghādisesa offences: one offence concealed for one day … one offence concealed for ten days. Venerable sirs, I request from the Saṅgha, for those offences, a combined probation (samodhānaparivāsa) according to the value of that offence which was concealed for ten days.' He should request a second time; he should request a third time.
