Niyasakamma

[45] Bhikkhus, an act of demotion (niyassakamma) possessing three factors is an act not in accordance with the Dhamma, an act not in accordance with the Vinaya, and one badly settled: it is done not face to face; it is done without interrogation; it is done without the acknowledgment (of the accused). Bhikkhus, an act of demotion possessing these three factors is an act not in accordance with the Dhamma, an act not in accordance with the Vinaya, and one badly settled.
