[570] Bhikkhus, here again a bhikkhu commits several saṅghādisesa offenses—some limited in measure and some without measure, some of one name and some of different names, some of the same class and some of a different class, some distinct and some mixed together. He requests the Saṅgha for combined probation (samodhānaparivāsa) for those offenses. The Saṅgha grants him combined probation for those offenses. While he is undergoing probation, he commits in the interval several saṅghādisesa offenses, without measure, concealed. He requests the Saṅgha for a sending back to the beginning (mūlāya paṭikassana) on account of the intervening offenses. The Saṅgha sends him back to the beginning on account of the intervening offenses by a legitimate act, unshakeable, fit to stand; it grants combined probation legitimately; it grants mānatta illegitimately; it rehabilitates (abbheti) him illegitimately. Bhikkhus, that bhikkhu is not purified of those offenses.
