[470] By that Blessed One who knows and sees, the Arahant, the Perfectly Awakened One — where was the pārājika on account of taking what is not given laid down?
It was laid down at Rājagaha.

Concerning Dhaniya the potter's son (Dhaniya kumbhakāraputta).
On account of what matter?
On the matter that Dhaniya the potter's son took the king's timber that was not given.
There is one rule (paññatti) and one supplementary rule (anupaññatti).
