[494] Through the condition of speaking praise of ministering to oneself with sensual pleasure (attakāmapāricariyā), one falls into three offenses (āpatti): one speaks praise of ministering to oneself with sensual pleasure in the presence of a woman (mātugāma) — an offense of saṅghādisesa; one speaks praise of ministering to oneself with sensual pleasure in the presence of a paṇḍaka — an offense of thullaccaya; one speaks praise of ministering to oneself with sensual pleasure in the presence of an animal (tiracchānagata) — an offense of dukkaṭa.
