[565] The pācittiya (offence requiring expiation) for a bhikkhunī who lets the five-day turn of the outer robe (saṅghāṭi) elapse — where was it laid down (paññatta)? — It was laid down at Sāvatthī. Concerning whom? — Concerning several bhikkhunīs. On what matter? — On the matter that several bhikkhunīs, having deposited their robes in the hands of bhikkhunīs, set out on tour through the countryside with only the upper robe and the inner robe. There is one laying-down (paññatti). Of the six origins of offences (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), it arises through two origins (as in the Kathina rule).
