Vinayapiṭaka · Parivāra · Vol. 8 · Section 578

[578] "Where was the offense of expiation (pācittiya) laid down for a bhikkhunī who wanders on tour, without a caravan (asatthikā), within the country, in a region agreed to be risky and fraught with danger?" "It was laid down at Sāvatthī." "Concerning whom?" "Concerning several bhikkhunīs." "In what matter?" "In the matter of several bhikkhunīs who wandered on tour, without a caravan, within the country, in a region agreed to be risky and fraught with danger." There is one laying down (paññatti). Of the six origins of offenses, it arises through two origins (as in the Eḷakaloma training rule).
