[453] A man sends a bhikkhu, saying: "Go, venerable sir, say to the woman named so-and-so, protected by her mother (māturakkhitā): 'Be, it is said, the wife of the man named so-and-so — a wife bought with money (dhanakkītā).'" He accepts the errand, he inquires, he brings back the reply: an offence entailing a formal meeting of the Saṅgha (saṅghādisesa).

He accepts the errand, he inquires, he brings back the reply: an offence of saṅghādisesa.
