[476] In the case of a woman protected by threat of punishment (saparidaṇḍā): he by whom the punishment has been laid down sends a bhikkhu, saying, "Go, venerable sir, tell the man named so-and-so: 'May she be the wife of the man named so-and-so — both a temporary wife (muhuttikā) and a wife bought with money (dhanakkītā) … both a temporary wife and a wife carried off as a captive (dhajāhaṭā).'" He accepts, he investigates, he brings back the reply: an offense of saṅghādisesa.
The one-rooted (ekamūlaka) section is finished.
Thus the two-rooted, up to the nine-rooted, should be elaborated in the same way.
This is the ten-rooted (dasamūlaka) section.
