[458] A man sends a bhikkhu, saying: "Go, venerable sir, and say to the woman of such-and-such a name, protected by her mother (māturakkhitā): 'Be, it is said, the wife of the man of such-and-such a name — a wife bought with money (dhanakkītā) and a wife living together by consent (chandavāsinī).'" He accepts, conveys the message, and brings back the reply: an offence of Saṅghādisesa.
