[59] Now at that time a certain bhikkhu saw a dead body, and on that body there was a wound near the genitals (aṅgajāta). Thinking, "In this way there will be no offence (āpatti) for me," he inserted his genital into the genital [of the corpse] and withdrew it through the wound. He was seized by remorse (kukkucca) … "Bhikkhu, you have committed an offence of pārājika." Now at that time a certain bhikkhu saw a dead body, and on that body there was a wound near the genitals. Thinking, "In this way there will be no offence for me," he inserted his genital into the wound and withdrew it through the genital [of the corpse]. He was seized by remorse … "Bhikkhu, you have committed an offence of pārājika."
