[640] If she should say thus: "The venerable one was seen by me sitting, engaging in bodily contact (kāyasaṃsagga) with a woman (mātugāma)," and if he admits that, he should be dealt with according to the offense (āpatti).
If she should say thus: "The venerable one was seen by me sitting, engaging in bodily contact with a woman," and if he should say thus: "It is true that I was sitting, but I did not engage in bodily contact," he should be dealt with for the sitting. … "I was not sitting; rather, I was lying down" — he should be dealt with for the lying down. … "I was not sitting; rather, I was standing" — he should not be dealt with.
