[649] "One whose word is trustworthy (saddheyyavacasā)" means: one who has attained the fruit (āgataphalā), one who has made the breakthrough (abhisametāvinī), one who has understood the teaching (viññātasāsanā). "Female lay follower (upāsikā)" means: one who has gone to the Buddha for refuge, gone to the Dhamma for refuge, gone to the Saṅgha for refuge. "Having seen (disvā)" means: having observed.
