[714] "And what, bhikkhus, is the path leading to the unconditioned (asaṅkhata)? Here, bhikkhus, a bhikkhu develops the power of wisdom (paññābala), which is based upon seclusion (viveka), based upon dispassion (virāga), based upon cessation (nirodha), maturing in relinquishment (vossagga). This, bhikkhus, is called the path leading to the unconditioned."
