[200] "Bhikkhus, how does a bhikkhu (bhikkhu), developing the Noble Eightfold Path, making much of the Noble Eightfold Path, come to slant toward Nibbāna, slope toward Nibbāna, incline toward Nibbāna? Here, bhikkhus, a bhikkhu develops right view (sammādiṭṭhi), which culminates in the removal of lust (rāga), culminates in the removal of hatred, culminates in the removal of delusion … he develops right concentration (samādhi) (sammāsamādhi), which culminates in the removal of lust, culminates in the removal of hatred, culminates in the removal of delusion. It is in this way, bhikkhus, that a bhikkhu, developing the Noble Eightfold Path, making much of the Noble Eightfold Path, slants toward Nibbāna, slopes toward Nibbāna, inclines toward Nibbāna."
